Vikram Mahidhar is an entrepreneur, innovator and advisor. Currently he leads Artificial Intelligence business for Genpact, driving algorithm led transformation of business process and operating models for Fortune 1000 clients using computer vision, machine learning, computational linguistics and conversational AI.
Vikram joined Genpact via acquisition of their start-up RAGE Frameworks. At RAGE, he was part of the executive team where he built AI solutions business that delivered solutions across various sectors including CPG, Retail, Logistics, Telecom, Life Sciences, and Capital Markets.
Prior to RAGE, in his leadership role at Deloitte’s Innovation group, he focused on identifying and commercializing emerging technologies. Vikram directed development of new products and services involving Big Data, Computational Linguistics, Computational Statistics, Analytics, and Mobile. In this role, Vikram also lead digital transformation of multi-billion-dollar financial audit business. In addition, Vikram has held several other leadership roles at Deloitte including expansion of large operations in emerging markets. He has consulted senior executives at fortune 500 and federal government organizations in the areas including growth strategy, supply chain, risk management, and around discovering emerging trends in business, technology, and society. He has led numerous primary research studies and authored studies in leading publications like MIT SMR, HBR, WSJ etc.
He is currently Entrepreneur-in-Residence at UMASS Amherst, College of Computer Science. Vikram holds graduate degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University, and undergraduate degree from University of Pune.
