Siddharth Deshpande, Senior Director, Security Strategy, Akamai Technologies
Siddharth (Sid) Deshpande is Director of Security Strategy for Akamai's Asia-Pacific and Japan region. In this role, he is responsible for product and go to market strategy for Akamai's security product and services portfolio. His focus is to help customers take a strategic view of their security programs and articulating key security design principles to position customers for long term success in their security strategy. Prior to Akamai, Sid worked at Gartner for 9 years as Senior Director, Analyst - Security and Risk Management. In this global role he acted as a trusted advisor to the world's leading organizations around their security and risk management challenges with a focus on cloud security and managed security services.
