Omer Ansari is Director of Infrastructure Engineering at Salesforce IT, and heads Salesforce IT's worldwide network engineering and operations organization. His team oversees a global network spanning all continents, 28 countries, 6 data centers, and over 100 offices. His organization has been on a journey to evolve the dinosaur space of traditional networking with software defined capabilities, continuous delivery capabilities, and bringing data science and analytics to shift end-user experience. Apart from leadership experience, Omer also has a balance of software and infrastructure background, and has run T-Mobile's software continuous delivery, and Cisco's cloud services engineering teams in the past.
