While the enterprise networking landscape has been changing drastically for a while now, security driven decisions are becoming more momentous and are steering network designs today, more than anything else.

In this session we'll:

  • Talk about the journey we are on with Microsoft IT - serving approximately 500 offices and 100k+ daily users - while segmenting the network applying the zero-trust security principle.
  • Discuss some of the pitfalls we have seen, the roadmap we have in front of us and areas we are focusing on like network as code initiatives, including a point of view around SD WAN as an overlay technology and what we are targeting for our existing underlay.
  • Talk about the impact of this initiative to the end-users, and how we tried to keep it to a minimum.
