According to Omdia data, only circa 20% of enterprise workloads are currently executing in a cloud environment. Enterprises have cloud strategies, many have a cloud-first strategy, but are they migrating to the cloud successfully from an operational management perspective? One of the biggest challenges for IT departments when adopting a cloud-based approach is to define the new roles and responsibilities needed for success – particularly the adoption of a shared responsibility model with the service provider. The rise of AIOPs (artificial intelligence for operations) is pivotal to managing the increased complexities of cloud-based and on-premise environments. For an IT department that, for the most part, is a collection of silos, AIOPs can serve as the layer of integration that makes accumulated knowledge useful. During this session, we will explore the challenges to managing in a hybrid and multi-cloud world and how AIOPs can be used to ensure cloud operations deliver benefits.
