It is estimated that the IT industry will be short-staffed by nearly 3 million qualified security professionals in the coming year. In every industry and every data center, the problem is the same: there aren’t enough skilled staffers to meet the expected volume and sophistication of threats that are expected in the next 12 months. What can IT departments do about the skills shortage? In this panel discussion, we will look at the problem from multiple angles, including how to find skilled people, how to train IT people on security tasks, how to outsource security responsibilities, and how to automate security processes in order to do more work with fewer people.
