In this session, Justin Bumbico, IT Manager of Infrastructure Services, will discuss how the Columbus Metropolitan Library has transformed from managing and maintaining its IT Operations in house to migrating all core systems to cloud services.

Over the last several years the Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) has migrated its server infrastructure and VoIP system to cloud based service providers. CML also built an information security program in the cloud through a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP).

CML participates in a Library consortium that hosts its integrated library system (ILS) and runs email and collaboration tools in Office 365.

Through the course of the presentation, Justin will discuss how CML transitioned from many custom built applications, including its ILS to having a multi-vendor and multi cloud approach for all of its critical technology operations.
