Immutable infrastructure is becoming the new norm in IT operations. Rather than fighting a losing battle trying to keep virtual and physical machines updated and patched, safe, stable images are deployed any time there is a change.

In this session, we’ll discuss the benefits of adopting an immutable infrastructure strategy and how to use a continuous deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD) process to build and manage server images for any platform. Additionally, attendees will learn:
• How to automate deploying immutable infrastructure images quickly and reliability with open DevOps tools
• Why an immutable infrastructure approach is more secure and robust
• How the move to an immutable infrastructure paradigm may impact the operational job functions.
