Colocation has significantly evolved, making it more attractive to enterprises by improving reliability, economy and flexibility - and control. Since many users are migrating compute off-premises, enterprises are strategically choosing colocation as one deployment path among several in their hybrid strategy (on-premises, colocation and cloud).
In this session we'll review key trends in modern colocation - including design, metrics, flexibility, audit/compliance, and economics - and discuss how colocation is increasingly viewed as a desirable alternative to on-premises and how it can serve an effective and complimentary role assisting enterprises in cloud adoption and migration. We'll conclude with a tutorial on intelligent scoping, selection and procurement of colocation – meeting enterprise goals while controlling costs.
