Does the mention of cybersecurity make your management or customers fearful or anxious? Is this fear or anxiety slowing or stopping them from taking actions needed to protect the organization? Having a great product or service doesn't matter if customers can't or won't make the decision to buy, even if it's in their best interest.

In this session, we'll explore the concept of "Cybersecuriphobia": the fear or anxiety of taking necessary cybersecurity actions to reduce the risk of a cyber incident. You'll learn how more than five years of informal field research discovered five common management fears. You'll also learn mitigation steps to reduce each cybersecurity fear so necessary actions can be taken to protect the organization. These concepts can also be useful in overcoming buyer indecision for any technology purchase.
