CASE STUDY: Maintaining a large infrastructure footprint is a huge, fundamental challenge. First, you have to determine the life cycle of your equipment and develop a replacement timeline. Then you need to align your infrastructure to a vendor's sales and support life cycle, figure out how much it will cost to replace, and, finally, create a deployment schedule for the new gear. In this session, we'll present a framework for planning and predicting infrastructure life cycle and costs. We'll help you gauge the expected life cycle, understand total cost of ownership, and develop a timeline to refresh your equipment.
