Artificial intelligence and automation are concepts that are bandied about constantly but often not in a focused manner. Rarely, do we see anything but hyperbolic statements about their effects on different sectors and roles. Most treatments of AI and automation tend to focus on "the machine" but not on the importance, now and in the future, of "human + machine" to ensure context, wisdom, ethics, and flexibility into the "organization of tomorrow." Given the speed of change, and that tomorrow is "here" already, all IT organizations must understand how to reconfigure themselves and to leverage this "moment" in history to springboard themselves into the center of the enterprise and to be the stewards of both AI and automation on the one hand and data on the other in the org.

This session will bring together industry thinkers, experts, and contrarians to discuss how IT roles must dynamically change to meet the needs of "tomorrow."
