Aaron Sullivan, Chair, Open Compute Project Incubation Committee & Director of Hardware Engineering, Facebook
Aaron Sullivan serves as Chair of the Open Compute Project’s Incubation Committee (OCP’s central technical governance group), and has been involved with the community since 2012. Over the last 20 years, Aaron has worked in Security, Enterprise and Telco Service Provider Networking, Performance Research, Product Development, Large Scale Systems Engineering, and most recently, Infrastructure Development after Moore’s Law. Aaron presently serves at Facebook as a Director of Hardware Engineering at Facebook. Prior to joining Facebook, Aaron was a Distinguished Engineer at Rackspace, and lead the development and deployment Open Compute-based systems there. Earlier in his career, he served in a variety of systems, network, and security roles AT&T, SBC, and GE.
