Tom Rose is a management psychologist, executive coach and human resources executive with more than 25 years of experience as a consultant/executive coach and in human resource leadership. Tom leverages these outside-inside experiences to help leaders at every level and the teams on which they collaborate achieve results that matter.
As a consultant, Tom has designed and implemented organizational change programs focused on clarifying and implementing strategy as well leadership development programs that promote needed shifts in senior, middle and first-level leader performance including high potentials within these management tiers. He has been CHRO and leader of talent planning & analytics and talent management /leadership development teams in organizations like Reebok, Syracuse University, and Sun Life Financial. Dr. Rose has worked in the Financial Services, High Technology, Consumer Products, Higher Education, Health Care and Pharma industries.
In 2017 Tom published the book Managing at the Leading Edge with McGraw-Hill. Based on extensive survey and interview research, the book documents the leadership behaviors and practices that drive success amid the disruption that defines today’s and will increasingly define tomorrow’s business environment. Tom has also published on the topics of accountability, engagement, high potential development, succession as well as first, middle and senior level leader effectiveness.
Tom uses an evidence-based-lean leadership development approach to help leader develop work environments, lead change and help people perform with the agility and resilience needed to drive success amid the turbulence and uncertainty that define today’s work world.
