Every day the world becomes more and more connected. It is estimated that by 2020 there will be 50 billion Internet of Things (IoT) devices and an estimated 90% of cars will be connected. Taking advantage of IoT, we can build applications that provide a more personalized experience for each individual user by using cognitive services to analyze social networks in combination with physical sensors.
In this hands-on session, attendees will learn how to connect an IoT device to retrieve its data and combine it with cognitive services to personalize the experience in an application. Attendees will develop a frontend mobile/web application that displays relevant information to the user as well as a backend application gathering data from the IoT device.
This session has a limited number of seats, so an RSVP is required. Please RSVP here.
