If you’re like most folks in IT, you probably hear a lot about machine learning and AI. You know they’ll eventually have a huge impact on your company, your job, heck, even your personal life, but you’re sure exactly what all the buzz is about.

You’d like to better understand this stuff, and you know deep down having a solid grasp of it would be good for your career, but who has time for online classes, reviewing college calculus and linear algebra, and coding up algorithms? After all, you want to drive the car, not build it.

That’s where the AI Executive Summit comes in. Think of it as a two-day Technical MBA in ML & AI, presented by Sam Charrington, host of the popular This Week in Machine Learning and AI podcast.

9:00 - 9:10 Welcome
Sam Charrington (Founder, CloudPulse Strategies)

9:10 – 10:30 AI Executive Bootcamp
Sam Charrington (Founder, CloudPulse Strategies)

10:30 – 10:45 Break

10:45 – 12:00 Developing Conversational Experiences
David Karandish (Founder & CEO, Ai Software)
AI Software, a company that is building an artificial intelligence platform to transform the modern workforce. Get insights on what the company has learned about natural language processing and machine learning as they've worked to develop an artificially intelligent, conversational interface.

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch

1:00 - 2:30 Computer Vision
Siddha Ganju (Computer Vision Data Scientist, Deep Vision, Inc.)
This session will entail an overview of the computer vision technology and the recent advancements including the wave led by big data, GPU's and deep learning. We will also discuss the opportunities that it has created for the enterprise, some common frameworks, have a vendor-neutral discussion of solutions and talk about some common implementation issues. Finally, we will talk about a couple of demo examples.

2:30 - 3:00 – Break

3:00 - 5:00 Data Collection and Annotation for AI
Kiran Vajapey (HCI Devloper, Figure Eight)
Data is all around us and technology has continued to evolve at an increasing rate. While these developments have changed the way we interact with the world there remains a fundamental disconnect between machines and humans. Machines can store and transmit data at incredible rates, but they have very little knowledge of the information contained in this data. If we can successfully teach machines to automatically extract and understand information from large amounts of data then we can start take advantage of the true computing capabilities of modern technology.
